Free Education for Agents Benefits Community Developers: an ABD Development Company and New Home Co-Broker Academy Success Story
ABD Development Company and the New Home Co-Broker Academy partnered with each other for a series of continuing education courses to benefit local real estate professionals in 2016. After this partnership proved to be a success, the companies have announced they plan to hold ten more classes in Providence Golf and Country Club Community in 2017.
Orlando, FL, January 13, 2017 --(PR.com)-- ABD Development Company knows that its Providence Golf and Country Club Community, comprised of 2,200 acres of golf course homes in a natural, off-the-beaten-path location near Disney, is the best gated community for the money in the Orlando area. Their goal was to increase Realtor activity at Providence in 2016, showcasing the six on-site builders selling varied homes from $250k-$1M as well as the affordable ownership costs, wide array of amenities, and beautiful countryside setting.
Partnering with David Fletcher and the New Home Co-Broker Academy was an ideal solution as it meant providing complimentary educational courses to the Orlando Realtors’ industry. This exposed local real estate professionals to the new luxury homes available within the private gates of Providence, while offering them free continuing education credits that enabled them to learn how to access and show new home inventory in Providence. The RSVP-only, three hour long courses also include lunch and a model tour, promoting an enjoyable way to learn and improve sales across the board.
Examining the numbers for 2016 over 2015 made it clear: these classes are working. The direct and indirect results of the New Home Co-Broker Academy courses in Providence have contributed to ABD sales numbers rising 300 percent over last year. ABD co-brokered deals are up 50 percent and climbing and other builders in Providence are reporting 80 percent increases in co-brokered deals. Overall Providence foot traffic went up 32 percent as word-of-mouth about this luxury golf community grew.
“2016 had marked increase in activity not just in Providence but in our other communities in Florida as well,” says Yuval Botansky, President of ABD Development. “Within Providence, we currently have eight spec homes in Sherbrook Springs either completed or in process and five in Heritage Green. There are eight specs under construction in Windsor Landing at Wyndham Lakes and four specs in Toscana Palm Coast for a total of 25 homes that ABD is currently building. We have also shortened the construction process by several months for buyers who want to move in right away.”
The success of the program has resulted in Matt Brown, ABD’s Director of Sales and Marketing, to participate as a speaker with David Fletcher at the NAHB International Builders’ Show in Orlando, going on now. The presentation, entitled “Turn Your Co-Broker Sales Up a Notch,” reports the benefits of the program for Providence and ABD Development from 2016. Educating real estate professionals in an appealing, convenient way is a win-win for the industry and this seminar at the Builders’ Show explains the process.
In total, over 500 Realtors attended the 2016 courses at Providence and over half of these attendees had never visited the community before. This level of increased visibility is unparalleled; therefore ABD Development plans to host ten additional New Home Co-Broker Academy classes in 2017 at Providence, further establishing the community as the top Realtor education center in the Orlando area.
