Easterseals Crossroads Selects Kerauno as Its Unified Communications Platform
Easterseals Crossroads, an Indianapolis-based non-profit organization, has selected Axia Technology Partners’ flagship software, Kerauno, as its Unified Communication platform. Easterseals selected Kerauno based on its robust mobility features, analytics and reporting tools, and the flexibility provided through Kerauno’s REST-driven API architecture.
Indianapolis, IN, January 17, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Axia Technology Partners (AxiaTP) announced today that Easterseals Crossroads of Indianapolis has selected Kerauno as its Unified Communications software platform.
“We are very excited about working with an organization like Easterseals Crossroads that is as committed to the future of technology as we are,” said Josh Ross, Managing Partner of Axia Technology Partners. “As we learned more and more about the mission of Easterseals Crossroads, we saw a lot of ways in which Kerauno could positively impact the work that they are doing for the community.”
Kerauno is Axia Technology Partners’ flagship software platform, providing unified communication and collaboration tools that optimize business workflows and enhance efficiencies. First released in 2015, Kerauno has been gaining momentum and was awarded “Best Cloud Solution” at the 2016 ITEXPO, as well as being named a “2016 UC Product of the Year” by TMC.
“Since we are an organization that is dedicated to changing the way the world defines and views disability, we are extraordinarily focused on technology, especially in the area of adaptive technology for people with disabilities,” said Wade Wingler, VP of Technology and Information Services at Easterseals Crossroads. “We recognize the value that efficient and reliable technology plays in people’s lives, every day.”
One way in which Kerauno will have an immediate impact for Easterseals Crossroads is by enabling remote staff to utilize system features and functions from anywhere with any device at hand, including a laptop, tablet or smartphone. This type of connectivity not only enhances productivity and security, but also provides the ability to create more detailed reporting and analytics, and assist in the adherence to regulatory compliance standards.
Another aspect of Kerauno that appealed to Easterseals Crossroads is the fact that the platform is hardware agnostic, which enabled them to use existing phones. “We work with a number of non-profit organizations,” Ross said, “and we know that when we can save them money on hardware, those dollars will go toward providing more services for the community.”
The most interesting part for both AxiaTP and Easterseals Crossroads is the potential for new technology solutions based on Kerauno’s REST-driven API architecture, which enables seamless integration with any third-party software. Josh Ross had this to say about the ongoing relationship between the organizations, “As we learn more about the adaptive technologies that Easterseals is working on, I am certain that we can find ways to leverage Kerauno and further enhance the lives of the people they serve.”
Wade Wingler agrees. “The AxiaTP organization’s company mission and values align nicely with our Easterseals Crossroads values of quality, integrity, respect and service that, coupled with the efficiency and technological advancements of the Kerauno system make for a solid partnership as we work together to serve our great community, taking on disability together.”
