Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Hosted by Sky Management Services to Celebrate Operation of Solar Rooftop Project
To commemorate the commercial operation of a 1.5MW solar rooftop installation in Wall Township, NJ.
Wall Township, NJ, January 18, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Sky Management Services, LLC (“Sky Management”) is pleased to announce the commercial operation of a 1.5 megawatt rooftop solar installation at the Wedgewood/Waterford Headquarters at 1330 Campus Parkway in Wall Township, NJ. A private “ribbon cutting” ceremony will be held at the site on January 25, 2017 in order to commemorate this achievement.
Sky Management, a privately funded and managed real estate company, purchased the building in December 2014. “One of the most important aspects of the purchase was the opportunity to use our experience in the alternative energy field to convert the Wedgewood/Waterford USA Headquarters to a sustainable facility,” said Jon Zich, CEO of Sky Management. The installation will have the capacity to provide nearly 90% of the electrical needs of the facility through solar energy, thus creating a carbon dioxide offset of 841 tons per year.
This undertaking was made possible through the collaboration of multiple parties. Construction Management and Owner’s Representative services were provided by ENERActive Solutions, an Edison Energy company, and Pro-Tech Energy Solutions was the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Contractor, with Star-Lo Electric as the installer.
The installation marks a milestone in sustainability efforts for Wall Township, New Jersey. Jon Zich states, “This exciting project could not have happened without the cooperation of various Township personnel. We thank you for [your] work.” The ceremony will consist of an opening presentation from Alex Dembitzer, founder of Sky, the “ribbon cutting” ceremony, and followed by a Q&A session. Sky Management, as well as representatives from solar industry companies, financial institutions and government officials will be in attendance.
