American Law Society Recognizes Miranda Lathrop Barber
The American Law Society Board of Directors is proud to announce that Miranda Lathrop Barber has been accepted as a new member.
Fairfield, CA, February 16, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Miranda Lathrop Barber practices at Mattice Law Offices in Fairfield, California as a family law attorney. She is board certified as a Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California's Board of Legal Specialization; she has also completed extensive training in representing children (2008, 2009). She represents clients on all issues related to dissolution of marriage and determination of parentage cases.
Miranda earned her Juris Doctor from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific in 2001. She has worked with the Solano County Court as a court appointed family law mediator, serves as a pro tem small claims judge, served as an on-call pro tem domestic-violence judge, and served on the court’s panel for appointment as minor’s counsel from 2008-2010.
Miranda has disseminated her profound knowledge of family law cases at local seminars and at the National Business Institute’s Handling Divorce Cases From Start to Finish in Sacramento (May 2012). She also writes and researches on complex matters of the law with the goal of advocating for legal reform on a global scale.
