NCADA's PAC Announces Judicial Candidate Endorsement
The NC Defense Fund endorses Judge Linda Stephens for election on the NC Court of Appeals in 2008.
Raleigh, NC, February 01, 2008 --(PR.com)-- N.C. Defense Fund Endorses Stephens for Court of Appeals:
The N.C. Defense Fund, the political action committee of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, endorses Judge Linda Stephens for election in 2008 for Judge on the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Judicial candidate endorsements by the NC Defense Fund are made based on the following criteria:
• Substantial exposure to or appreciation of issues involved in civil litigation;
• Commitment to the evenhanded application of the rules governing our courts;
• An outstanding reputation in the legal community;
• An outstanding record of judicial achievement or possession of the potential to be an outstanding judge.
The N.C. Defense Fund is the political action committee of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys. The North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys brings together civil trial attorneys to promote professionalism in the practice of law and the exchange of information, ideas, and litigation techniques. The North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys works to strengthen the practice, to improve the skills, and to enhance the knowledge of lawyers defending individuals and businesses in civil litigation in North Carolina. Current membership stands at 1000 attorneys and certified paralegals from across the State.
