Richard Gordon Receives Super Lawyers’ “Rising Star” Award for Ninth Year in a Row

Chicago, IL, January 19, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service that evaluates attorneys on 12 separate indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, has chosen attorney Richard Gordon as a “Rising Star” for 2017. This is Gordon’s ninth consecutive appearance on the list.

Gordon specializes in representing professional athletes in sports injury litigation and routinely represents players in the NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS, WNBA and Arena Football. A 2002 graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Gordon began his career by representing insurance companies against accident victims in state and federal courts; he later transferred this experience to helping instead preserve the dignity and rights of injured individuals.

Once an attorney has been selected as a Super Lawyer, he or she is eligible for the Rising Stars list, which recognizes high-achieving attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or who have been in practice 10 years or less. According to Super Lawyers, only 2.5% of attorneys are selected as Rising Stars.
