Welsh Internet Company Helps New Businesses Get on the Web

Cardiff, United Kingdom, February 01, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Following popular demand Welsh internet company, ComGem, have announced the launch of an affordable website solution for the smaller business.

With almost 30% of Welsh businesses not having a website, Wales is lagging behind the rest of the UK, and with many businesses turned off from going online due to cost, ComGem identified a large market for a more affordable website solution. “Having a professional looking website is key in today's rapid moving business environment,” said Danielle Attard, ComGem’s Head of Marketing “and we found that many smaller businesses really wanted to get on the virtual business ladder – but were turned off by the high costs of having a professional website, they could update themselves.”

After more than a year in the making, the ComGem team had come up with the perfect solution. In five simple steps, non-technical people could create and update their own website, and with more than 500 professionally designed and customisable website templates, the smaller business on a budget could afford a unique looking website. “As a company we have always aimed to make the latest technologies more affordable,” commented Danielle “with Gemview Lite we have achieved this, as our sales since launching this service just two weeks ago have demonstrated.”

Over the next year, ComGem who entered the web management market just over a year ago, have ambitious growth plans, with the implementation of 1,000 Gemview Lite websites before the end of the year. “With sales from the last few weeks, it looks as though our ambitious target will be a reality,” added Danielle “This will be coupled with the expansion of our team both at our Cardiff Bay head office and the opening of a second office in West Wales.”
