Give Peace a Chants World Sound Healing Day – Feb. 14, 2008
A global event on Valentine's Day in which thousands of people throughout the planet project a healing sound for the Earth. Conceived by Sound Healing pioneer Jonathan Goldman, this is the 6th World Sound Healing Day--the first in which Temple of Sacred Sound, an interactive Internet website, will be launched in order for people to sound together in cyberspace to raise the consciousness of the planet. This event will be measured by the Global Consciousness Project out of Princeton, NJ.
Boulder, CO, January 31, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Can people making sound together help create peace on the planet? Healing Sounds pioneer Jonathan Goldman thinks so. On February 14th, Goldman and thousands of other like-minded individuals will send a Sonic Valentine to the Earth as an event he calls “World Sound Healing Day”. At 12 noon Eastern Time, meditators, peace activists, sound healers and many others throughout the planet will project the heart sound “AH” filled with the intention of peace and love at www.templeofsacredsound.org . In addition, people will be sounding together at other times throughout that day in various locations.
“The “AH” is a universal, non-denominational heart sound that when projected with focused energy is extremely powerful and effective,” Goldman says. He has found that creating a global sound such as the World Sound Healing Day “AH” will create a transformational wave of energy that will positively affect the entire Earth.
Goldman is an internationally acclaimed teacher and author of numerous best selling books including "Healing Sounds, Shifting Frequencies" and "Tantra of Sound." A Grammy nominee, he is an award winning musician whose releases include “Chakra Chants”, “The Divine Name” (with Gregg Braden), and “Ultimate Om”. Goldman believes that sound coupled with intention has the ability to heal and transform. “The power of prayer has been proven in various studies.” he says, “The Global Consciousness Project out of Princeton, New Jersey has measured the effects of global meditations and found a correlation between peaceful activities on the Earth and these meditations.
