Dale R. Mudt is Manager, Process Automation at the Suncor Energy Products Inc. Refinery. Mr. Mudt earned a BSc with Distinction in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta. Mr. Mudt’s expertise is Real Time Optimization, Management, Advanced Process Control, and Data Acquisition. He has spoken on Advanced Control Optimization, Safety Systems to 4th year engineering students and presented "Refinery Real Time Optimization...On the Road for 25 Years" at the Manufacturing Technology Network Conference. Prior to joining Suncor, Mr. Mudt worked for several consulting engineering firms in the food, mining, and inorganic chemical industries. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario and is member of both the CSChE and AIChE.
