Partnership for Dads Presents the 17th Annual Fathers Conference

Detroit, MI, January 28, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Societal expectations and perceptions of dads have changed a great deal over the years. Fathers are more involved and active in the daily care of their children and their important roles as parents is recognized more than ever. For the 17th Annual Fathers Conference – “Recognizing the Modern Dad,” Partnership for Dads explore, understand, and appreciate the growth that fathers have made across society. Executive Director Leon Walker emcees the event with Jerome Vaughn, award winning journalist, WDET News Director, and host of “All Things Considered,” performing the keynote address with his lecture of “How to Be a Great Dad in 10 Easy Steps.”

The Partnership for Dads Fathers Conference is an annual event held in Metro Detroit where extremely knowledgeable and gifted speakers and presenters from a variety of professions provide uplifting and informational speeches as well as educational and engaging workshops to conference attendees, all with the goal of encouraging and supporting fathers, aiding them to be the best dads they can for their own children and families. The conference will commence on Saturday, January 28th at the Oakland Schools Education Service & Conference Center in Waterford, Michigan. Partnership for Dads is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization dedicated to encouraging and supporting fathers, children, and families through a variety of workshops, lectures, activities, and events. We work to help fathers become more involved parents and build stronger families so that their children can have the best life possible. We accomplish this by working with existing organizations to provide programming and resources to dads and families in the community.
