Shannon Tower VCS SAT Successfully Passed

Zürich, Switzerland, February 01, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Comsuisse AG is proud to inform, that on December 1st, 2016, the Shannon Tower VCS has successfully passed SAT and the system is planned go into operation in early 2017. The Irish Aviation Authority IAA is pleased, that an experienced technical support engineer from comsuisse AG supported the SAT. This enabled a smooth and successful outcome.

The installed Voice Communication System is based on the field proven ICS 200/60 platform from Schmid Telecom. It’s fully redundant architecture supports best availability. comsuisse AG has the proven long-term knowledge and all rights to produce, deliver and maintain the ICS 200/60 from Schmid Telecom AG. The system as configured, has passed all Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) without any outstanding deficiency.
