Sagora Senior Living Fulfills Holiday Wish to Help Children in India

Daphne, AL, February 02, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Annually, Sagora Senior Living offers residents and associates an opportunity for their holiday wishes to come true. Sagora’s Brennity at Daphne resident, Helen Burrus wished for Hope Generation, a charity in Bangladesh, India, to receive sweaters for children in their Home of Hope orphanage. Sagora donated 100 sweaters which will make a remarkable difference in the comfort and well-being of the children served by the charity.

Helen is well acquainted with Hope Generation because her daughter, Sharon Smith, is co-director of the Home of Hope, principal of Hope Mission School and founding director of Christian Teachers Training Institute. Helen, who has volunteered in past years in Bangladesh, remarked through tears of joy, "I can just see the smiles on the children's faces when they get their new sweaters. Raising up a generation to serve God is Sharon's passion."

Home for Hope provides a haven for children whose biological parents or guardians are no longer able to care for them. Most of the children come from remote areas where the threat of child trafficking is a reality. Home of Hope offers an opportunity for boys and girls to live a fruitful life complete with Godly mentors, education, good nutrition, medical aid and clothes.

Sagora began the Holiday Wish tradition to spread cheer and share goodwill with their residents and associates, and Helen found a way to bring joy to a generation and a nation that needed a helping hand and caring heart.
