My Foodies started in February of 2012 as a network for people who loved food and new recipes. The network grew overnight into a recipe chateau with over 15,000 recipes submitted from their network of over 350 of the world's top Food Bloggers.
My Foodies' social media exploded and grew from 1000 fans to 1.2 million in just months, grown 100% organically. It's powerful presence on social media made way for unique marketing endeavors like recipe contest with their top bloggers, cooking product reviews and foodie giveaways.
My Foodies asked their fans what they wanted, and they responded. Their new site gives members free online cook books where fans can store family recipes or save their favorites from their top bloggers, plus share their cook books with friends and family via email.
The new site offers meal plans. A member can create their own for the week or use recipes from their top bloggers, plus they can print out a list of ingredients to take to the store.
It also offers video recipes, picture recipes and has so many categories that fans will never need another recipe site.
My Foodies also has made some changes so that their members can be My Foodies Super Stars. The site houses Top Food Bloggers recipes, but now the members can share their recipes with the fans, have their own blogs and if rated the highest... they become a My Foodies Super Star and promoted on the My Foodies home page.
