Brooks is a New York State licensed Nurse Practitioner with over twenty-five years of experience in the health care field, receiving her Masters in Nursing from Pace University. Geri was formerly Director of Senior Services at White Plains Hospital, where she was employed for over 30 years. Brooks has dedicated her professional career to advocating and caring for seniors and has an extensive knowledge of the aging process. She was instrumental in implementing Hospice Palliative Care, and Dementia Education Training in nursing home and home care settings. She is a Board member of The Alzheimer’s Association of Hudson Valley, and Visiting Nurse of Westchester, Brooks is also a professional Advisory member of Hospice of Westchester and Chair of the Caregivers Collaborative, and Board Member / Secretary of the Public Private Partnership.
