Local Nonprofit Holds Inventory Sale
Dress for Success Tampa Bay will hold its semi-annual Excess Inventory Sale February 16-18. Proceeds will allow the organization to purchase much needed plus-size business attire and larger-size shoes and help with boutique expenses.
Tampa, FL, February 10, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Want to expand your wardrobe on a budget while supporting a local nonprofit organization? Dress for Success Tampa Bay will hold its semi-annual Excess Inventory Sale February 16-18. Proceeds will allow the organization to purchase much needed plus-size business attire and larger-size shoes and help with boutique expenses.
“Shopping can always make someone feel better, it feels even better knowing your purchases will help another woman in need,” said Katie McGill, Executive Director of Dress for Success Tampa Bay.
The Excess inventory Sale will be held at Bayshore Baptist Church at 3111 W. Morrison Ave., South Tampa. Hours are: Friday, Feb. 17, 9a.m. to 7p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 18, 9a.m. to 3p.m. Cash is preferred, but credit cards are accepted with $25+ purchases. All sales are final and no children.
With only three employees and many volunteers, Dress for Success Tampa bay relies on grants, donations, and fundraising events to continue offering their services locally. This nonprofit helped more than 1,953 women in 2016 and received the WEDU Be More empowered award in 2015.
This nonprofit helps women return to the workplace and become economically independent. Although known primarily for providing interview attire for women, Dress for Success Tampa Bay also provides career search and job skills assistance. This nonprofit’s Career Center helps with resume writing, mock interviews, and software training.
