Markon Solutions Names Steve Genn and Kyle Werking Vice Presidents
Falls Church, VA, February 12, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Markon Solutions, a project management consulting firm, named two new vice presidents - Steve Genn and Kyle Werking.
Mr. Genn leads client delivery and portfolio growth for U.S. Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs clients. He is accountable for his team’s professional growth and development, client satisfaction, and portfolio growth.
Since joining Markon in 2012, Mr. Genn has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities in managing his portfolio. He co-created and continues to co-lead Markon’s Leadership Development Program to grow the next generation of leaders.
Mr. Genn’s military career includes service as an active duty Air Force Air Battle Manager, during which he flew missions in Desert Storm. He retired as a Colonel in the Air Force Reserves. Mr. Genn received his MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and a BA from Louisiana State University. He also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential.
Mr. Werking manages all contracts with U.S. civilian government departments/agencies. He is responsible for client satisfaction, portfolio maturity, and developing new opportunities. Mr. Werking has been with Markon since it was founded in 2007 and has worked in some capacity in every one of Markon’s portfolios.
With 15 years of civilian experience, he has successfully delivered design and construction projects for multiple government agencies and successfully served as owner’s representative for a $200 million 16-acre project. While in the U.S. Army, Mr. Werking served five years as an armor officer. He earned his BS in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
