Lucky Dog Hot Sauce Wins 7 Awards at the 2017 Fiery Food Challenge

Hayward, CA, February 15, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Lucky Dog Hot Sauce has been awarded 3 Golden Chiles for Chipotle, Extra Hot, and Hot/XHot Pepper Blend in the 2017 Fiery Food Challenge for Brown Label - Ridiculously Tasty Mustard Chipotle and Black Label - Fire-Roasted Trinidad Scorpion Sauce, respectively.

Lucky Dog Hot Sauce also brought home a 2nd Place for Green Label in Mild - Consumer Ready, a 2nd Place for Year of the Dog for Asian Style - Consumer Ready, a 3rd Place for Green Label in Latin Style Mild/Med, and a 3rd Place in Fruit-Based Hot/XHot for Year of the Dog.

On January 27, 2017, the most prestigious awards in the spicy food industry were distributed at the Fiery Food Challenge Awards dinner in Irving, Texas, and Lucky Dog Hot Sauce came out on top. Green Label, Brown Label, Year of the Dog, and Black Label all took home awards, 7 in total with 3 Golden Chiles.

The Fiery Food Challenge pits products from across the US and internationally against one another in more than 90 categories. Professional judges evaluate hundreds of sauces, salsas and other spicy treats and award first, second and third place prizes in each category. Awards are proudly displayed at ZestFest, a spicy, zesty and flavorful food event held the same week as the Fiery Food Challenge at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas.
