Commercial Account Officers Meet in Chicago to Discuss Best Practices

Fairport, NY, February 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- First American Equipment Finance kicked-off 2008 in Chicago with their annual sales conference. The meeting, which was held at The Drake Hotel in downtown Chicago, brought together the national sales teams to discuss the most effective ways to serve their valuable clients.

The meeting began with a presentation of 2007 financial results and a review of industry trends, and was followed by a series of sessions focusing on newly developed innovative lease structures, as well as best practices to enhance the relationships between First American and its customers. The keynote speaker at the event was Dominique Dawes, U.S. Olympic gold medalist. Her discussion on envisioning your goals and keeping a positive attitude in life was very well received and extremely motivating for the First American staff.

The meeting came on the heels of the most successful year in the company’s history. In 2007, First American was fortunate to be recognized by several national and local media outlets for the company's growth. They were recognized for the 4th straight year by the Monitor magazine as one of the Top 100 largest leasing companies in the United States in 2007. There are currently over 4,600 leasing firms in the U.S. and this ranking places First American in the top 2% of firms in its industry.
