TFI Envision Tapped for a Complete Rebranding of Nonprofit
Stamford, CT, February 17, 2017 --(PR.com)-- When it was time for the nonprofit, Neighbors Link Stamford, to undertake a total rebranding, they chose TFI Envision, Inc. because of TFI Envision’s successful rebranding of other nonprofit organizations.
TFI Envision’s team worked together with the organization’s staff and board of directors to develop the new Brand Key, Positioning, Mission Statement, Vision and Promise Statement. This laid the foundation for the next phase – the development of a new name, tagline and brand identity.
Following a well-honed process, TFI Envision presented name and tagline concepts that included aspirational, descriptive, evocative and inventive options. The final choice: “Building One Community – The Center for Immigrant Opportunities.” The name reflects the ultimate goal of the organization – “one community for all” and the word “building” refers to the ongoing efforts to attain their goal. The tagline has a double meaning of being a welcoming place for immigrants and for being the solution to shape immigration policy at all levels.
TFI Envision’s creative team then went to work on the development of the new logo that would be clearly visible, easy to read and reflect the essence of the organization. The new logo includes 3 elements – a symbol, the name and the tagline.
The symbol includes a large circle in the middle to represent community. The individual shapes represent a diverse group of people coming together to build one community.
The application of the new identity included versions of the logo, interior and exterior signage, stationery, name announcement and launch event postcards and a comprehensive brand standards manual.

The end result, as we witnessed at the launching event as well as from the many congratulatory notes that we have received, has been incredibly positive. The new name and logo really represent who we are, and our clients, volunteers, staff and donors have a great sense of ownership about our new identity. The new name, represents our aspiration of 'Building One Community' and the tag line clearly describes who we are. The name and tagline are self explanatory and will help us promote our work and position the organization in a way that we could not do it before,” said Catalina S.
