San Antonio, TX, March 02, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Lara M. Brock, Esq. of San Antonio, Texas has been recognized as a Professional of the Year for 2017 by Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide Edition for her outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of law.
About Lara M. Brock, Esq.
Ms. Brock has six years’ experience in the legal field. She is an Attorney at the Espinoza Law Firm, which provides legal services throughout Texas. She is a plaintiff’s trial attorney who is responsible for handling trial and appellate cases. Ms. Brock specializes in wrongful terminations, workplace injuries, third party claims, and employment law. Ms. Brock has published several articles and has given presentations to different legal groups and organizations.
Ms. Brock is the Founder of the Women’s Caucus of the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, Board Member of the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, and also serves on the Steering Committee for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association’s Women’s Caucus. Born on December 16, 1988 in Radford, Virginia, Ms. Brock obtained a J.D. at St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2014, where she graduated magna cum laude, and obtained her B.A. with honors from Carson-Newman College in 2010, where she graduated summa cum laude. At St. Mary’s, Ms. Brock was the Managing Executive Editor for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice, where she utilized her advocacy skills on behalf of those most often underrepresented in the law, a practice she continues today when representing her clients - “nevertheless she persisted.”
She feels strongly about the statement by former Secretary of Labor, Thomas E. Perez, as it relates to her work and the people she is able to represent: “No one should have to sacrifice their life for their livelihood, because a nation built on the dignity of work must provide safe working conditions for its people.”
