Westerlund Joins MBH as CEO

(“MBH” or the “Company”), a leading title and settlement services provider in Northern Virginia, is pleased to announce that Fred Westerlund has joined the Company as its Chief Executive Officer. Fred is an industry veteran in title and settlement services in the Washington, DC metro area and most recently served as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of PenFed Title in Reston.

Fred joins MBH at a time when the Company enjoys significant prospects for growth and clear opportunity to bolster its leading position in the Northern Virginia market. He will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of MBH’s business going forward and will provide leadership and vision to the organization in driving growth and improving MBH’s client service across its local markets. Fred brings exceptional leadership ability to the Company along with a wealth of experience in operations, business development and risk management. He’s been involved in real estate services in Northern Virginia for over a decade, prior to which he spent more than 15 years in sales, marketing, and operational roles in other service industries. Prior to his career in business, Fred served as an officer in the U.S. Army. He received his undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and earned a Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
