Chamness Biodegradables Announces Grand Opening of New Production Facility in the United States - Brings 100% Biodegradable and Compostable Products Factory to CA

Camarillo, CA, February 25, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Chamness Biodegradables, LLC, a manufacturer of 100% biodegradable and compostable serve-ware and packaging is pleased to announce its newest products: Coffee House Compostables and Brew House Compostables. The Coffee House Compostables are made from recycled coffee grounds and the Brew House Compostables are made from recycled hops. Both sets of serve ware come in any color and one can see the coffee specs or the hops in the plate.

“As the demand for environmentally friendly serve-ware grows, we are excited to introduce products that no one has seen before. We replaced new ingredients with the coffee grounds and the hops and got super strong plates, bowls and more that are great for story-telling and the environment too,” said Renee Fry, CEO of Chamness Biodegradables. Chamness Biodegradables can be produced in any color of the rainbow with 90 degree angles and can withstand cold down to -30 degrees Fahrenheit yet can also go up to 420 degrees Fahrenheit. The plates and bowls can be composted at home in 40 days or in commercial facilities in 10 days or recycled with your home recycling.

“We talked with lots of coffee drinkers and beer drinkers and asked them where they thought the materials went. We got some very interesting (and wrong) answers, but most guessed landfills. When we showed folks our new plates, their eyes lit up and almost everyone said, “Wow, can I show my wife, my husband, my sister, etc. so we knew we were on to something and when we said we make them here in the US, it was a done deal for most. It is a product we are proud to make,” added Dave Darnbrough, the plant manager for Chamness Biodegradables.
