Millennial Engages Community to Fund Movement

Millennial entrepreneur spurs community to fund new book and course.

Los Angeles, CA, February 27, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Millennial Skills, a new life-long learning community, will enlist the 500+ members to crowdfund their new book and course. After starting the community in 2016, the founder Hector Santiesteban is finally ready to share the message of his community with the world.

"We need Millennial Skills to help us navigate through not only the demands of life but to give us access to the tools and education to live better and more purpose driven lives. To develop ourselves and achieve [our] goals,” says Jolina Parra, a young aspiring entrepreneur and writer in the community.

Hector Santiesteban says that the mission of the community, “is to help Millennials have the skills to make more money and to live with more meaning in their life. We want to give them the success skills they missed in school.”

Typically utilized for college tuition and funeral expenses, crowdfunding now allows the engagement of a community to not only fund a project but to also help spread the message and the vision of the community.

“Our goal is to turn the book into a movement that spurs young people to go out there and make a difference in their world,” says Santiesteban.

The book and course will be a category-creating product that engages a younger demographic through not only text but also video and audio as well. The program is designed to help young people engage the material in a way that they are used to learning. The book will cover topics from career advice, to personal finances, to health and relationships.

The campaign will be hosted on Indiegogo.com, a popular crowdfunding platform, and will be kicked off on March 4 at a restaurant in Santa Monica, California. The campaign goal will be to raise $5,000 over the course of 35 days. Backers can contribute amounts that range from $1 to $10,000
