AIM Creates New Start-Up Membership Option
Pittsburgh, PA, March 02, 2017 --(PR.com)-- AIM is pleased to announce the addition of a new membership option created exclusively for start-up companies involved in automatic identification innovation and technologies.
"In the global economy today, many individuals lose out on the value and benefits that membership associations like AIM offer because start-up companies often have limited financial resources," said Mary Lou Bosco, Chief Operating Officer of AIM, Inc. "That's exactly the time when individuals at start-ups need resources to help their businesses grow and flourish and AIM knows how critical those years can be so we developed a way to help."
The new AIM start-up membership option was designed to provide a company a reduced rate during its initial years on dues with the same privileges as other members. AIM member benefits include a variety of networking and business development opportunities, ranging from education and advocacy to industry discounts, trends and participation in key industry committees. The value of AIM membership can be further explored in the association's latest Year in Review publication or by visiting AIM's website (www.aimglobal.org) and the section on Membership.
Lauren Roman, Founder of TransparentPlanet, a Bainbridge Island, Washington, start-up that helps organizations achieve sustainability goals by understanding and employing advanced technology solutions, spoke of her experience as an AIM member. "I've found tremendous value in my first year as an AIM member. From speaking engagements to presenting webinars and participating on AIM committees, I've grown both my network and my knowledge of AIDC as it continues to evolve."
To take advantage of this special option, start-up membership candidates must meet criteria established by the AIM Board related to annual revenue and years in business. For consideration or additional details, contact AIM COO Mary Lou Bosco (marylou@aimglobal.org) or call AIM Headquarters at +1.724.742.4470.
