The new innovation in Ram Board Plus is a built-in adhesive strip to allow for extremely quick installation. Reverse wound so that Ram Board Plus can be rolled out and installed in one step, Ram Board Plus promises to cut install time by 40%. In addition to the adhesive strip, Ram Board Plus features other tried features found on standard Ram Board. Wall Guard folds upwards where floors meet with a wall, to protect the wall at foot traffic level. Spill Guard prevents liquids such as paint and oil from permeating onto floors.

The inclusion of an adhesive strip allows Ram Board Plus to be used on a wider variety of surfaces than floors. A local builder relayed that the new adhesive will allow him to use Ram Board Plus to quickly cover and protect the countertops on his project, which were otherwise very difficult to tape standard Ram Board down to.
