Kelly Malafis is a founding Partner of Compensation Advisory Partners LLC (CAP) in New York. She has 20 years of executive compensation consulting experience working with Compensation Committees and senior management teams. Work performed has been for large and small publicly traded companies in a variety of industries, including financial services, insurance, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and retail. Kelly has also provided advice on compensation issues for privately-held companies and companies with special circumstances such as IPOs and spin-offs. Abstract
Proxy access was the preeminent theme of 2016 proxy season. More than 200 shareholder proposals were submitted on that topic, twice the number submitted in 2015. Companies' responses to these proposals had also been significantly different than those submitted during the 2015 proxy season, implementing a proxy access bylaws.
Proxy access is still expected in 2017. This and a range of other significant considerations for the 2017 proxy season will be discussed by a panel of thought leaders and practitioners assembled by The Knowledge Group in this two-hour live Webcast.
