Full Agenda Released for Identity Management Symposium
Full agenda released for DSI's 2-day premier National Capital Region event, 4th Identity Management Symposium.
Alexandria, VA, March 04, 2017 --(PR.com)-- DSI is proud to announce the agenda release for the 4th Identity Management Symposium.
On April 18-19, 2017 senior leaders within OBIM, DHS, DFBA, and the Intelligence Community will convene in Alexandria, VA, for two days of off the record briefings and informal discussions at Defense Strategies Institute’s "Town Hall” 4th Identity Management Symposium.
As the U.S. Government continues to make improvements to their biometric, identity and access management capabilities, they have been able to provide greater insight on the behavior, intent and actions of known and unknown threat actors. This year’s educational symposium will provide attendees with the opportunity to participate in two days of off the record briefings and informal, collaborative discussions focusing on this year's theme of "Advancing Biometric and Identity Activity Solutions."
Confirmed Speakers Include:
· Grant Schneider, Deputy Federal CISO, Office of Management and Budget. Mr. Grant assists in the establishment and direction of Federal Cybersecurity strategy to include the Nation's budget priorities, resource management, as well as overseeing implementation of policy across the entire Government.
· Michael Sorrento, Director, Defense Manpower Data Center. Mr. Sorrento is responsible for oversight of the largest and most comprehensive identity protection family of systems in the Department of Defense and management of a dozen major operational DoD programs.
· COL Hurst, PM, DoD Biometrics, PEO IEW&S. In his position, COL Hurst designs, engineers, acquires, deploys, and sustains enterprise biometric solutions for the entire DoD. These solutions enable identity dominance for U.S. forces, interagency partners, and international allies.
· COL Dan McElroy, USA, Acting Director, DFBA. In this role, COL McElroy supports DFBA as the leading entity for Identity Operations across the DoD, as he assists in directing both the biometric and forensics activities at DFBA.
· Col Tom Clancy, Director, Identity Management Programs, DoD. In his role, COL Clancy is responsible for defining privileged access management frameworks that protect critical information across the entire Government.
