Gran Sasso Announces Il Giardino Will Open This Spring
Brooklyn's Gran Sasso announces that its 5,000 square foot garden will open to customers and be available for private event booking on May 1st, 2017.
Brooklyn, NY, March 09, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Brooklyn restaurant Gran Sasso announced that its 5,000 square foot outdoor garden, Il Giardino, will be open for customers and special event booking on May 1, 2017.
“We are very happy that our guests will be able to experience this beautiful space,” said owner Pietro Sasso. “It’s not only a spot for events, but it also is where we grow the herbs and spices we use in our kitchen.”
Il Giardino will feature seasonal greenery among Gran Sasso’s herb and spice garden and can hold up to 200 guests. In addition to being used for al fresco dining and private events, Gran Sasso plans to host outdoor movie screenings beginning in summer 2017.
“No other restaurant in Williamsburg has a garden of this size,” Pietro said. “Il Giardino will be a unique and memorable backdrop for everything from corporate events to private celebrations, and even weddings.”
Il Giardino is the newest of Gran Sasso’s three event spaces. La Corte Lampadario is a double height, sky lighted court anchored by a four-tier copper pipe, tree-roots shaped, room-expansive chandelier. La Saletta is a fully private wine cellar outfitted with audio and video capabilities and designed with just the right touch of Italian “rustico.”
