Global Yuri's Night Regional Team Leaders Needed
Yuri's Night is looking for volunteer outreach team members, who are responsible for engaging with their local communities and networks to spread the Yuri’s Night message and encourage people to register and host Yuri’s Night events around the world.
Santa Rosa, CA, March 13, 2017 --(PR.com)-- The Yuri’s Night Global Team is seeking highly motivated and dedicated space individuals to assist with outreach efforts across the globe for Yuri’s Night, the World Space Party.
Every April, hundreds of thousands of people take part in Yuri’s Night, a global celebration of humanity’s past, present and future in space. Yuri’s Night events combine space education and scientific discovery with revelry and partying, and are held at homes, colleges, museums, bars, and other venues around the world. Members of the Yuri’s Night Global Team volunteer to provide support, coordination, and resources for the hundreds of Yuri’s Night parties that take place each year.
Members of the Global Team’s outreach team (led by Community Manager Veronica Ann Zabala-Aliberto) are responsible for engaging with their local communities and networks to spread the Yuri’s Night message and encourage people to register and host Yuri’s Night events. All outreach positions are volunteer-based, with flexible work schedules dependent on the team member’s availability. Volunteers will be required primarily through the end of April 2017, though those who wish to join the Global Team for future Yuri’s Nights are welcome.
To learn more or express your interest in volunteering, please contact Veronica Ann Zabala-Aliberto (veronica@yurisnight.net) immediately. The Yuri’s Night team wants to see as many people as possible around the world dream, explore, and celebrate at Yuri’s Night this April.
