venVelo Invests in Actionable Quality Assurance
venVelo has invested in Actionable Quality Assurance (AQA), a leading software-as-a-service platform for end-to-end monitoring of food safety with solutions for suppliers and restaurants.
Orlando, FL, March 15, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Today venVelo announced it has invested in Actionable Quality Assurance (AQA), a leading software-as-a-service (SAAS) platform for end-to-end monitoring of food safety with solutions for suppliers and restaurants.
“AQA is fortunate to attract venVelo’s investment as we roll out our suite of services to our first clients,” said Eric Graves, founder and CEO of AQA. The company is headquartered in Gainesville, Florida.
“Eric and AQA are great examples of what we look for in early-stage companies,” said venVelo’s John Caron, who will join the AQA board of directors. Caron is the former President of Olive Garden.
AQA’s solutions address the three biggest problems that restaurant chains face: FDA regulatory requirement to ensure that all products in their supply chain supply are safe; ensuring that best practices for food safety and quality standards are consistently monitored; and managing restaurant’s specifications compared to chemical, microbiological, and physical tests that measure specification variance across the supply chain.
“With the company’s domain expertise and the scalability of AQA’s business model, we are confident it will quickly add customers all along the global food supply chain,” added Caron.
“AQA is venVelo’s first investment in Gainesville,” said Allen H. Kupetz, COO of venVelo. “It is exciting to continue to expand our footprint all across Florida.”
