NorthPointe Resources Launches New Website: SOARR Behavior Health Services and Expands Services
NorthPointe Resources announces the launch of a new website, www.SOARRbehavioralhealthservices.org to support those looking for behavioral health services.
Zion, IL, March 18, 2017 --(PR.com)-- NorthPointe Resources announces the launch of a new website, www.SOARRbehavioralhealthservices.org.This website provides programs and support for people seeking mental health services throughout Lake, McHenry and northern Cook Counties. The new website has all of the information needed by individuals across a variety of age groups looking for behavioral health services. “Mental health services have long been provided by NorthPointe and accessed through our current site. We developed this dedicated site so that people seeking mental health services will be able to find and access our services quickly,” stated Dina Donohue-Chase, CEO NorthPointe Resources.
In addition, in February, SOARR Behavioral Health Services began offering services to youth and young adults. This expansion addresses the needs of people aged 12 to 21 throughout the above counties served by NorthPointe. “By adding and expanding our services to include youth and young adults we are answering a need for early intervention, treatment and recovery to help build healthier individuals, stronger families and safer communities,” stated Ms. Donohue-Chase.
Mental health challenges impact each and every one of our communities and create a crisis situation that not only affects the individual, but also affects families, friends, neighbors, veterans, employers, schools, hospitals, and the criminal justice system. This puts a financial burden on everyone. The program is focused on the belief that individual paths to recovery differ, and supportive services for mental and behavioral health disorders should be tailored to fit each individual’s needs and be offered in their local neighborhoods and communities.
Mental health services first became available at NorthPointe in 1998 as a result of a grant that offered vocational training to nursing home residents struggling with mental health issues. In 2006, these services grew with the addition of comprehensive treatment programs, individual and group community support,
as well as individual and group therapy and counseling. Throughout this expansion, a new focus on: Support, Outreach, Achievement, Recovery, and Resilience led to the development of SOARR. NorthPointe continues to provide behavioral health treatment in the most accommodating environments for all of the individuals participating in SOARR’s programs and supportive services.
With the launch of this new site, NorthPointe expands their internet reach to three websites: www.NorthPointeResources.org is the main site for information about NorthPointe, its services, partners, events and donor support; www.OnPointe.org is NorthPointe’s site for evidence based training programs and consulting services; and now the new SOARR Behavioral Health Services site.
As a social change organization, NorthPointe Resources, Inc. has been a premier provider of a full range of programs for people with disabilities and mental illness since 1953. Located in northern Illinois, NorthPointe serves Lake, Cook and McHenry counties, supporting approximately 500 people annually.
