AAA Test Lab Certified by DOD for Test and Authentication of Military Electronic Components
AAA Test Lab has been approved to authenticate electronic components for the DOD.
Palm Bay, FL, March 18, 2017 --(PR.com)-- AAA Test Lab Inc. has been certified for Laboratory Suitability by the Sourcing and Qualification (VQ) Division of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for AS6081 and limited electrical test for federal supply code (FSC) 5961 and 5962 electronic microcircuits effective immediately. VQ Laboratory Suitability certification was created by the DLA to identify companies with the necessary test equipment or in-house expertise to test Qualified Products List (QPL) components approved for sale to the DOD. A listing of approved labs can be found on the DLA website at https://landandmaritimeapps.dla.mil/Offices/Sourcing_and_Qualification/labsuit.aspx
Laboratory Suitability Certification requires sponsorship by an existing DOD approved supplier and includes a comprehensive facility audit by DLA engineers reviewing test procedures, environmental controls, calibration, training, document control, and various other aspects of an acceptable quality management system. Certification is for a 3 year period and renewal requires a re-audit by the VQ team prior to expiration.
This certification means that the DOD has determined AAA Test Labs to be suitably equipped and staffed for testing QPL products intended for sale to the DOD and/or their suppliers that require military standard testing. The Government does not guarantee satisfactory performance and assumes no responsibility in the event of non-performance or unacceptable data furnished to any person or organization utilizing its services.
AAA Test Lab Inc. is an ISO/IEC-17025 accredited independent laboratory specializing in the inspection and test of electronic components including component authentication, electrical test, and failure analysis with emphasis on upscreening microcontrollers, memory devices and field programmable gate arrays (FPGA).
