Nucsafe Inc. Releases Guardian Shield Area Monitor Radiation Detector

Oak Ridge, TN, March 18, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Nucsafe Inc., a developer and manufacturer of radiation detection equipment, today announced it has released the Guardian Shield Area Monitor Radiation Detector. The Guardian Area Monitor is the first area monitor radiation detection in Nucsafe’s Guardian® family of radiation detection systems. This system utilizes a built-in Geiger-Müeller tube standard with an operating range up to 1 R/hr. Optional detectors allow this device to detect neutrons, perform spectroscopy, location, and report environmental conditions. The Nucsafe Guardian® Shield Area Monitor also provides the user: gamma exposure rate, gamma counts, neutron counts, location. The system can be monitored remotely using common browsers.
