Everlast is Launching New Models of TIG Welding Machines

The California-based company is following its expansion strategy by enlarging its offer of professional welder machines. Everlast has announced that it has started to produce new models of TIG welding machines: the POWER l-TIG 201 and POWERARC 300ST.

The POWER l-TIG 201

The Everlast Power l-TIG 201 is designed to clients who need a professional level DC TIG/Stick welder. This economical DC welder offers unparalleled features. The fully featured unit is offering both lift start and high-frequency start capability.

The Power i-TIG 201 competes well with similar units in its class when compared to other DC TIG/Stick welders available on the market. For instance, at just a fraction of the cost, the Power i-TIG 201 offers similar features as Maxstar and Invertec models.

Everlast designed this unit as a replacement for the previous model, the popular Power i-TIG 200. The Power i-TIG 201 unit is widely used by professionals in fields such as stainless fabrication shops or gun smithery. The unit is preferred in trades where the control of the temperature is important, because it can precisely control the heat using its pulse feature and low amp start capability of just 5 amps.

The new DC Power i-TIG 201 incorporates digital control of the parameters, providing increased reliability and a simplified internal plug and play design. Among its features are included: digital display for accurate setting of amps, pulse function with fully adjustable parameters up to 250Flz, 160A stick weld function with arc force control that can be used with welding electrodes, TIG output of 125A at 35% Duty Cycle operating on 240V, TIG output of 200A at 35% Duty Cycle operating on 240V, dual voltage capability that allows unit to be used with 120V or 240V single phase service, lift start and high Frequency modes for DC welding, consumable starter kit and 35 Series DINSE-style connectors.

The POWERARC 300ST

The new equipment from Everlast called PowerARC 300 ST is designed for customers who need a welding power that comes in a small form factor. This DC TIG welder can be used for projects that require both power and portability. The unit offers TIG welding power and 300 amps of DC Stick.

The PowerARC 300 ST can handle diameters up to 1/4". Materials up to over 1/2" thick can be easily welded by using the DC lift TIG function. This unit offers a special E6010 rod class welding port. Various welding rods such as 5P, 5P+, and 5P++ can be also handled by this unit.

This new unit from Everlast uses a 60 percent duty cycle. Its capability to work with 1 and 3 phase 240V makes the device suitable for working in industrial environments. Among its features are included: achieving maximum arc performance via adjustable arc force control, improved arc starting and reduced sticking via adjustable hot start, compact IGBT inverter, capability for welding steel, and stainless with DC lift TIG function, the stable and smooth arc with any electrode.
