UBSNA has a long history of generously supporting local and national charities through the company’s corporate philanthropy committee, which focuses on providing supplies, volunteer hours, and financial contributions to worthy causes throughout the community. In the fourth quarter of 2016, UBSNA donated $30,000 to 4 different non-profit organizations in the New York area. The organizations that benefited are:
Bronx Manhattan Seventh Day Adventist School (BMSDA) – The Bronx-Manhattan Seventh-day Adventist School is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church and aims to provide a spiritually oriented education for children.
New York Scholarship Fund – An organization that works to expand educational opportunity by providing scholarships to families in need so children can attend the K-8 schools that are the best fit, regardless of their ability to pay or where they live.
Sephardic Community Center – A social service agency that provides social, cultural, recreational and informal educational programs and activities in order to perpetuate Sephardic heritage, culture and tradition.
Children of Promise – An organization that aims to embrace children of incarcerated parents and empowers them to break the cycle of intergenerational involvement in the criminal justice system.
