SMIXIN AG Wins the Innovation Prize of the AIT Design Award at the ISH 2017, with the COMBI Hand Wash System
Frankfurt, Germany, March 22, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Swiss’ leading clean tech company, SMIXIN AG, was granted a special award by the prestigious "AIT: Innovation for Architecture and Technology," for its highly innovative hand wash station COMBI. This prize rewards the importance of architectural features in the design of sanitation and integrated building services technology and was awarded by a jury of leading German architects during the ISH 2017 in Frankfurt.
The COMBI water-saving hand wash station unites in a confined and controlled space, the functions of water, soap dispenser, paper, sink and bin. Further, it only consumes 1dl of water and 0.5 ml of soap per hand wash, allowing savings of approximately 90% water and 60% soap. The COMBI is fully touch free and sensor-driven, and avoids any germ transmission via soiled soap dispenser, water handles or air-dryer. The hand wash system can be linked to a cloud server with a WLAN transmitter, for fully remote management of multiple COMBI's installed in a building or various locations.
The jury highlighted the hygiene aspect, the resources savings advantage and the features of the COMBI.
The COMBI has beendesigned for use in or outside the washrooms in offices, buildings, large public spaces and quick serving restaurants.
SMIXIN AG is a limited company by shares and is registered in the canton of Berne, Switzerland.
