Capital City Grocery Hosts Valentine’s Day Cooking Class

Raleigh, NC, February 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Sue Weems, vice president of Capital City Grocery (www.capitalcitygrocery.com), has announced that the store will host a Valentine’s Day cooking class on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 6-8 p.m., led by personal chef Pamela Clark of Thyme Savor, who will teach creative ideas for cooking products available at Capital City Grocery. The inaugural class will provide instruction on how to prepare gourmet recipes such as sopressata sausage and asparagus with mustard vinaigrette, eggplant stuffed with garlic and cheeses, lamb shanks braised in wine and fresh herbs, salad greens with dried berries, caramelized walnuts and creamy avocado dressing and chocolate pancakes. Guests will be able to enjoy the food they have prepared as well as learn the appropriate beverages to pair with their cuisine. The cost is $35 per person.
