U.S. Senate Hopeful Andrew Shecktor Keynote Speaker at Philadelphia MAGA March
Andrew Shecktor, a candidate for U.S. Senate in PA, seeking to oust Bob Casey in the 2018 elections, is scheduled to be a keynote speaker at the Philadelphia MAGA March to be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 in Philadelphia.
Berwick, PA, March 23, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Andrew Shecktor, candidate for U.S. Senate (PA, 2018), will be a keynote speaker at the MAGA (Make America Great Again) March on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Shecktor will be introduced by PA GOP Chairman Val DiGiorgio. Shecktor was a delegate supporting Donald Trump to the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, and is currently a Berwick borough Councilman.
The march kicks off at 11:30 am at Independence Hall, 520 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia.
"We are marching for our President, Vice President, Military, and First Responders," the website for the national event says. "We are the silent majority and we are ready for a real change. A change for how our Veterans are treated when the focus seems to be somewhere else."
The group of pro-Trump supporters plan to rally at People's Plaza, near 5th and Market Streets, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Then the group plans to march west on Market toward City Hall, then head on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway toward Eakins Oval, in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where they expect to stop for about 20 minutes before heading back toward Independence Mall. They then are scheduled to rally again at People's Plaza from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
There is also a rally opposing Trump planned for the same day with the intent to disrupt the MAGA march.
