MeisterLabs Launches FOCUS—The First Blog Dedicated to Creative Teamwork
To fulfill its mission of improving collaboration, creativity and productivity among teams worldwide, MeisterLabs, the company behind the popular web applications MindMeister and MeisterTask, just launched their third large-scale project—creativity and productivity publication, FOCUS.
Munich, Germany, March 25, 2017 --(PR.com)-- MeisterLabs today released the brand-new creativity & productivity publication FOCUS, providing teams with information and resources to help them work together successfully. FOCUS, which is accessible at focus.meisterlabs.com, is targeted at teams of all sizes and industries, with a particular focus on workers in the tech and creative fields.
Articles are written by a combination of in-house staff and hand-picked industry experts, as well as the MeisterLabs founders, Michael Hollauf and Till Vollmer, who so far have been sharing their experiences on media such as TechCrunch, Entrepreneur and The Next Web, as well as conferences around the world.
“We founded MeisterLabs to provide teams with the means to work together successfully, to improve communication, and to collaborate on ideas and tasks efficiently,” explains Michael Hollauf. “For the past 11 years, we’ve focused almost exclusively on the technical side of this mission. We first built MindMeister, a collaborative mind mapping app, to help workers share their ideas with others. Eight years later, we released our task manager MeisterTask, so workers could turn those great ideas into reality. What we found was that, no matter how simple and intuitive our tools are, users still need a certain amount of guidance, inspiration and knowledge, to get the most out of the technology. This is how the idea for FOCUS was born.”
While a small percentage of FOCUS’s articles consist of product-related tutorials and tool tips, the majority of content provided is product-independent, making it the number one source for anybody looking to maximize productivity, creativity and collaboration in the workplace.
“We’re going to look at all aspects of teamwork,” says Michael Hollauf. “We’ll ask questions like: How can workers stay creative long-term? How do you support your team in developing a growth mindset? And what does it take to keep employees happy and motivated? We’ve also started doing productivity experiments within our own team, and are excited to share the results of those on the FOCUS blog in the coming months.”
Readers can subscribe to the blog to automatically get notified about new articles being published, or follow one of the company’s social media channels to stay updated.
