Gran Sasso Wins 2017 Diners' Choice Award
The authentic Italian restaurant is recognized for Best Service and Best Value in Brooklyn.
New York, NY, March 27, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Brooklyn restaurant Gran Sasso was honored with a 2017 Open Table Diners’ Choice Award.
“We were happy to win the award in 2016, but are truly thrilled now,” said owner Pietro Sasso. “We love our customers and they love us back.”
The award recognizes Gran Sasso for both Best Service and Best Value in Brooklyn. Diners’ Choice Awards are given based on verified reviews from Open Table diners. Recognition is given at National, Regional, and Metro levels.
Gran Sasso opened five months ago, billing itself as the most authentic Italian restaurant in Brooklyn. The kitchen makes pasta fresh daily, including Gluten-free options, and seasons its dishes with herbs from Gran Sasso’s own garden.
“With an Italian restaurant, it can be difficult to stand out from the pack,” Pietro said. “Our diners recognize that our food and our ambiance sets us apart. There is something special happening here.”
About Gran Sasso
Gran Sasso opened in Williamsburg in October 2016 and quickly won an Open Table Diner’s Choice award for its authentic Italian cuisine. Under the direction of three-time Michelin-star chef Luca Casadio, the kitchen makes fresh pasta daily and seasons its culinary creations with herbs and spices grown in Gran Sasso’s own garden. With brick oven pizza and a 100-bottle (and growing) wine list, there is something to please every palette.
