Sheraton Sharm El Sheikh Celebrate Earth Hour 2017
Hotel supports worldwide Earth Hour movement for the environment.
Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, March 30, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Sheraton Sharm hotel goes dark to shine a light on climate action with Earth Hour 2017. The hotel has joined millions around the world in turning off lights for one hour on March 25 at 8:30 p.m. local time to illuminate a powerful message about environmental awareness and action. The annual global environmental awareness event was created and instituted by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in 2007 to emphasize the threat of climate change.
Sheraton Sharm hotel started the celebration with running a collection of Earth Hour videos in the hotel lobby, then they turned off lights in observance of Earth Hour, the global environmental awareness event, the hotel’s guests informed ahead and invited to glow-in-the-dark specialty cocktail, the hotel also shared other energy-saving measures during Earth Hour, among them turning off exterior signage lighting; dimming non-essential interior lighting; using candlelight in appropriate public areas such as restaurants and bars.
