New York, NY, March 31, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Artist/Curator/Director Ricardo Osmondo Francis with Leonidesarts Gallery New York appreciates your attendance at the Gateway Project Spaces’ Spring Open Studios & Brunch, Saturday April 1st 2017 from noon – 5pm. Along with visiting Artist Ricardo Osmondo Francis current works and studio, there will also be multiple performances, interactive activities, and pop up installations by other onsite artists. The Project For Empty Space gallery will be open and celebrating the final day of Zoe Buckman’s solo exhibition “Imprison Her Soft Hand.” A panel discussion will take place at 3pm featuring the artist and participants from the GRAB BACK: PES Feminist Incubator Program. The GRAB BACK Feminist Incubator Studio will be open for viewing. Feminists-in-Residence Sahana Ramakrishnan, Rosary Solimanto, Marilyn Gomez, and Anna Ogier-Bloomer are currently creating works that address a variety of issues including female safety, gender roles, ownership, and agency. The residency will conclude with an exhibition of the work produced in May 2017. While visiting with Artist Ricardo Osmondo Francis have a visit at the studios of: Adebunmi Gbadebo, Alexandra Desipris, Alisha McCurdy, Anna Cone, Public Radio For All, Daniel Hibbert, David Antonio Cruz, Delano Dunn, Dwayne Peltier, Endless Editions, Equal Space, Gregg Bautista, Jaret Vadera, Jennifer Wroblewski, Kelly Ann Pinho,{LIPS}, Lisa Saeboe, Luis De Sousa, Mahtab Pedrami, Mary H. Young, Naomi Perez, Nina Chanel Abney, Richard Hart, Samer Fouad, Shannon Stoia, Shoshanna Weinberger, and other spaces. Food and beverages will be served throughout the day. Event is Free.
