JC Golf Launches the JC 20/30 Club and Spring Kickoff Event
JC Golf recently launched a new program aimed at young adults ages 20-29 called the JC 20/30 Club. The 20/30 refers to the extremely low green fees for members to play at participating courses. The official launch for the program will take place at the Spring Kickoff event at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course, April 15 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and feature demos, discounts, golf contests, craft beer, food, and prizes.
San Marcos, CA, March 31, 2017 --(PR.com)-- JC Golf recently launched a new program aimed at young adults ages 20-29 called the JC 20/30 Club. The 20/30 refers to the extremely low green fees of $20 for a weekday round and $30 for a weekend round for members to play at participating JC Golf courses. Golfers can play any time during the week and after 11 am on weekends with the exception of Encinitas Ranch Golf Course where a 3 pm start time applies. The incentive to sign up comes from a savings of 37-78% on green fees, depending on which course is played; registration is currently free to join.
“The program originated to help young professionals offset the cost of green fees and maintain their momentum as junior golfers,” replied Eric Jeska, Corporate Director of Golf Operations. “Over recent decades, we’ve noticed a decrease in active golfers from the 20-30 age group. The decrease is not due to a lack of interest in the game, but rather attributed to a lack of financial means during this phase of their lives. No longer supported by their parents and not yet in the height of their careers, 20-30 year-olds often lack the monetary means to continue the sport they love.”
JC Golf created the JC 20/30 Club in an attempt to rectify this situation and to make golf more accessible to this demographic.
“It is our goal to keep young professionals engaged, allow them to continue to play, and retain their interest into their 30’s,” replied John McNair, Vice President of Golf Operations. “We feel strongly that the JC 20/30 Club is the first step in fostering a life-long relationship with this younger generation.”
To kick off this new program, the Official Launch Party for the JC 20/30 Club will take place at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course on April 15, 2017 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. A full day of demos, discounts, golf contests, craft beer, food, and chances to win big prizes including a JC Players Card are on the event roster and open to all ages. Guests can experience demos from TaylorMade and Cobra, receive a free driver adjustment from Flightscope and try out the rooftop deck on the Travis Mathew party van.
