Momma Lynn Records (MLR) Announces Singer-Songwriter, Abby London, to Begin Recording at Studio Sage in Edmonds, Washington
Seattle, WA, April 01, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Momma Lynn Records (MLR) announces Seattle Singer-Songwriter, Abby London has begun recording at Studio Sage in Edmonds, Washington. Joining the Momma Lynn family of companies last Fall, London “brings unique vocal stylings to the Label,” said Momma Lynn Founder and CEO, Michael Decker. “She is an outstanding addition to the Momma Lynn family and we are excited to be sharing her music with everyone.”
Momma Lynn Records has worked closely with Studio Sage Co-Owners Tim Sage and Francis Jaros in the past and when asked, Decker heaped praise upon the studio. “This is a first-class, full-service recording studio. Tim and Francis immediately put our bands and artists at ease with their easy-going personalities. They make us feel comfortable and we enjoy working here.”
London, no stranger to the recording process said, “The studio is gorgeous and the piano in the Main Room sounds amazing. I am so excited to record here. Our pre-production meetings involved frank discussion and we had to make some hard decisions, but they went smoothly due to the professionalism of my Team.”
Decker said he was “introduced to Abby at a downtown Seattle Music Industry Night back in 2015. “We went to listen to several area Singer-Songwriters that evening and Abby really stood out from the others, I was really impressed with the way she handled herself on stage and how the crowd loved her. She has such a unique voice, you can’t help but be drawn into her music and stories.”
Originally from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, she has traveled around the United States and now calls Seattle home. London says she has found inspiration from artists like Tori Amos, Ray Lamontagne, En Vogue, Regina Spektor, Fiona Apple, Trina, Lil’ Kim, Talib Kweli and The Roots. Her new album will be comprised of an eclectic collection of songs about “prevailing over tribulations, moving on, moving through time, being honest and expressive, and being yourself while having a conscience.”
