Accomplished Dental Field Sales Representative Welcomes New Challenge
Menlo Group Commercial Real Estate welcomes Mark Haslip as its newest Vice President.
Tempe, AZ, April 03, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Mark Haslip was looking for a new challenge after a successful award-winning career in dental sales. With that in mind, he decided to take advantage of a great opportunity with one of Phoenix’s top commercial real estate brokerages.
Menlo Group is excited about that decision as they welcome him to the team as its newest Vice President.
“I couldn’t be happier to welcome Mark to Menlo Group. We value the many relationships we’ve developed in the dental community and it’s very humbling to have someone of Mark’s caliber join our team because of the experience he’s had working with us,” said Tanner Milne, Menlo Group’s founder and owner.
Haslip will expand Menlo Group’s footprint in the medical community of the East Valley through helping clients lease retail spaces, buy land on which to build clinics/offices and sell their property.
Haslip comes to Menlo Group from Henry Schein Dental where he served as a field sales consultant for thirteen years. This experience prepared Haslip for his new career as he helped dental practices in all areas of their business, including real estate.
“Real estate was one of those tasks I would do with many of my clients. We would talk about their current lease rates and terms and if they were ideally positioned in paying current market rates, or, more importantly, if they had an exit strategy when it came to real estate,” Haslip said.
This led Haslip to taking real estate classes at night so he could sharpen his skill set and provide a better service to his clients. What he didn’t expect at the time was that it would lead to a career change, but when Haslip was ready for a change he knew his next move.
“I was looking for a new opportunity to challenge myself and this career offered it because it was different,” Haslip added.
After making the move, Menlo Group was his first and only choice in deciding which company to join thanks to a longstanding relationship with them. He was introduced to Milne ten years ago and the two felt an immediate connection. He would come to rely on Milne’s expertise in real estate when working with clients.
“I would just call Tanner and he would take care of the real estate component of it,” said Haslip.
This front row seat allowed Haslip to see how Menlo Group worked and, with what he saw, he knew he wanted to be a part of the team.
“The group of people at Menlo Group is first class. I used them for 10 years during my previous career. They know the market inside and out and put the needs of their clients first,” Haslip said. “That’s why I chose them.”
Milne commented, “Mark is a true professional. He was consistently a top dental rep in the state because of his commitment to his clients and I’m confident it won’t be long before he’s in a similar position here. He will create tremendous value for his clients and our team.”
Haslip’s background allows him to differentiate himself from other agents and offer his clients a complete package.
“That’s what truly sets me apart, because I understand the needs and challenges of dental and medical offices from a truly unique perspective. I can offer solutions from a real estate perspective, not only in regard to location, but in driving new patients to their business and helping to position them for financial success.”
This is the foundation of Haslip’s selling philosophy, helping the client succeed.
“The needs of the client have always been the first priority for me in everything that I do. Even if it is to my own detriment, I put my clients’ needs, wishes, desires and outcomes ahead of my own,” Haslip said.
This attitude is well suited to serving the Phoenix commercial real estate market.
And, to Haslip, it’s a great time to join. The healthcare industry is vibrant due to the population growth and the opportunities that come with more people moving into the Valley each year.
“We have all the resources needed for young, middle aged and retiring entrepreneurs to be successful in whichever field they select,” Haslip added.
Originally from Utah, Haslip moved to Phoenix in 1999 and has fallen in love with the community due to the outdoors, the weather, and the business climate.
Outside of the office, Haslip spends his time with his wife and six children, along with serving his church and local boy scout troop. Haslip also enjoys sneaking down to the river for one of his favorite past times, fly fishing.
