New Trade Show Debuts in Lafayette, Louisiana This Summer
The new, semi-annual Southern Wholesale Gift Show debuts in Acadiana in July, welcoming boutique and retail buyers and wholesalers to the Cajun Dome Convention Center in Lafayette for a weekend of fun and profit.
Lafayette, LA, April 07, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Organizers and attendees are excited about the new trade show coming to the “Happiest City in the USA” in July. The Southern Wholesale Gift Show (SWGS) debuts in Lafayette, Louisiana, this summer, and buyers and sellers are ready.
“We’re so excited about this show and we know all our exhibitors and buyers will benefit from this experience. Buyers will find unique gift items, exhibitors will find new customers and everyone will have fun enjoying the Cajun culture, food and activities of South Louisiana (Acadiana/Lafayette),” said Robert Benoit, SWGS president.
Show dates are Saturday and Sunday, July 22-23, at the Cajun Dome Convention Center, right in the heart of Acadiana. Visitors to the show's website can read about the show, register early, link to the Cajun Dome and see what’s going on in the area.
Move-in for exhibitors starts on Thursday, July 20, at 12 noon CST. “Exhibitors can claim their booth space now online or order by mail. We have generous discounts and incentives, and we’re working to make this show fun, profitable and stress-free for all our exhibitors,” Benoit said. Buyers can register online too and learn about the exhibitors and their products.
The SWGS has partnered with the Hilton Garden Inn across the street from the Cajun Dome so visiting buyers and exhibitors will find group rates available and be located convenient to the show.
The SWGS will also publish “Let’s Shop! The Southern Wholesale Gift Show Magazine” and hold a special luncheon for members of the media Friday, July 21, at 1:00 p.m. “We invite all the media to come meet our exhibitors, see all the activity and get to know this first-of-its-kind show right here in Lafayette,” Benoit said.
