BrookStone Insurance Group Achieves One Year in Business

Dallas, TX, April 17, 2017 --(PR.com)-- BrookStone Insurance Group, LLC was formed by Brook Crawford in April of 2016 after Crawford sold his interest in an existing agency. The agency, located in Dallas, Texas, started business with just four employees, three in sales and one in administration, and has now tripled in size with a total of 12 employees.

Crawford began his career in insurance with Allstate after being honorably discharged from the Army in 1971. Just four years later he was the owner of his first independent insurance agency. After several years in the industry, many agency acquisitions, and time served as Managing Partner, CEO, and President of different ventures, he sold off his interests in an existing agency and formed the BrookStone Group.

The insurance group was established to create a major agency platform for younger talent within the retail insurance agency segment. Crawford said, “We employ highly trained, talented and creative individuals who are motivated to perform at the highest level. Our young staff of professionals have played a major role in the successes of our first year in business.”

BrookStone’s focus will be in four major areas: large commercial property and casualty, select (small) commercial property and casualty, personal lines property and casualty, and life and health coverage for both individuals and groups. The company’s focus will be on the Texas market, and the projected revenues for 2017 are $2,000,000.

The team at BrookStone is looking forward to starting their second year in business by focusing on new business production via two avenues: core growth and an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. Agencies interested in merging or being acquired would of great interest to BrookStone; most transaction are on a cash basis with possible equity upside.
