AOK Records Presents Jim Sullivan's Debut Radio Single
Nashville, TN, April 20, 2017 --(PR.com)-- AOK Records is proud to release the radio single “Beer Before Breakfast” from Texas artist, Jim Sullivan. The single debuted to radio on April 18th and is being pushed to the Music Row and Texas Radio Charts stations. This marks the first joint campaign between Sullivan and the label.
“Jim Sullivan is the kind of guy who writes songs that people can relate to. His life has been lived in small town America, on the stage, in the military and in the lives of millions of Americans just like himself," AOK President Adam Knight stated.
The single has been released for a 90-day campaign focusing on the secondary market. AOK agents will follow up with phone, fax, and email with program directors nationally to solicit airplay. Further, submissions have been made to all relevant local and national media.
Jim’s first influence, he would state was watching Elvis Presley in the early days of his youth. His calling, he says, was first recognized while playing America’s “Tin Man.” Honing his craft on his father’s 1945 J45 Gibson, he entered the familiar teenage scene of playing in a band. After a few years serving the nation in the United States Navy, Sullivan founded a band which included his then-wife. Divorce led to disbandment and relocation to the Country music mecca of Tennessee. Fueled by his love for the Outlaw sounds of Merle, Waylon, Bocephus and the like and his new found broken heart, his own breed of Country Blues began flowing from his pen and lips.
Jim Sullivan will take this dream to Nashville once more this year. However, it is no longer as a man with a wish and a prayer, but a nationally recognized artist who will be performing at a label showcase during the CMA Music Fest, Country Music’s largest annual event.
