Barack Obama Balloon Ball... the Winner in ‘08 and Free
Syosset, NY, February 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- "Red States, Blue States, Everybody Loves our Balls," says Mary Rodas, toy designer, Hispanic Hero and promoter.
As a Scholastic Mentor, former Toy Tycoon and presently Director of Admissions of the world renowned New York College of Health Professions, Philanthropist Mary Rodas is at it again. After giving away free toys on her website www.BalzacToys.com at Christmas time (her birthday is Christmas day) for kids who couldn't afford them, Mary now wants to give away 15” Earth Balzac 2 Balloon Balls to kids so that they can learn while they play. Mary will offer thousands of Earth Balls for Free, a $22.00 retail value (shipping and handling is $4.99), on a first come first served basis, while supplies last.
"Kids should have fun learning," says Mary. Everyone is talking about education and health, but there isn’t much action. Mary served as Co-Chairman with Barbara Bush for the March of Dimes Reading Champions Program (she is now for Obama). "We all have a chance to choose a candidate that comes along once in a great while, and I think Obama is that person."
As one of the early inductees into the Hispanic American Hall of Fame, Mary continues, "I think Hispanics should vote not on their race, but for the person who can offer this country a change in direction." Although Mary has her own show on Hispanic Station La Fiesta, she states that her opinions do not reflect those of the station, the College or anyone but herself. "As a matter of fact, I am in the process of designing an Obama Balzac Head Ball to give away later this season. Sure it may not be dignified to kick him around, but he can take it! And I think it will create more fun and awareness for all those who see this is not business as usual."
Business is certainly not as usual for Mary Rodas, whose Balzac has bounced its way to hundreds of millions of dollars, a few licensing arrangements with some of the biggest companies in the business, withstood a Chapter 11 proceeding and is still churning out greenbacks.
It is really all about fun and doing something different. A free product is certainly something different. "It's not a requirement for getting a Free ball, but in exchange, please bug your parents to vote for Obama," Mary adds with a smile.
Balzac Toys is a leading innovator of proprietary Fun products. Balzac has brought smiles to millions of people throughout the world with its novel intriguing products. Having been featured at some of the leading venues throughout the world including DisneyWorld, Universal Studios, FAO Schwartz, Toys R Us, Hamley’s, as well as featured in premiums from many companies including Microsoft, Nippon Airlines, Toys R Us, Calgon, Burger King (Australia); people who are young or young at heart love their products.
