She completed her residency and internship in Internal Medicine at Sinai Grace Hospital, Detroit Medical Center in Michigan. She completed her Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Kamineni is a professional member of American College of Physicians in Texas.

Dr. Kamineni specializes in all aspects of Internal Medicine with special interests in geriatric or elder care and preventive care. As a palliative care physician, she also manages end of life care and cancer related pain and other symptom management. She is interested in developing long-term relationships with patients to provide continuity of care.
